Our Story

There is a fundamental error in the way that organisations do business. I have been privileged to have spent my career as a human resource consultant for a wide range of industries and organisations nationally and internationally and have discovered that there is consistently something missing.

Being More Human is a bespoke system for change that ignites and transforms people, purpose and profit by getting to the heart of the matter.

A happy, healthy, connected and purpose-driven world.

Businesses are overly focused on things that can be measured; KPIs, outcomes, the task at hand. They have forgotten their most important resource…the people.

When I was made redundant from my last job, I was distraught. However, as it turned out, this experience proved to be a blessing in disguise. It set me on a course of driving and building change in organisations. I made a commitment to inspiring a new way of thinking and helping business leaders and managers to move into the future with community and people top of mind.

The time has come for us to stop looking at numbers and figures to create results. We need to start focusing on the human beings sitting in the chairs within our workplaces. People who have unique needs, wants and desires. When we start taking care of them…the rest will take care of itself.

This philosophy inspired the birth of Being More Human.

Our team of like-minded, visionary thinkers empower individuals and organisations to be more human in everything they do. We’ve combined a range of human resource products and tools with our own people’s unique skillsets and passion to produce an effective method to bring positive change to businesses, their leaders, staff and managers.

We are helping our clients to reap the significant benefits of understanding their who, and therefore their how. Benefits like higher engagement, lower staff turnover, less psychological claims, a more constructive culture and, as a result, greater efficiencies and productivity.

While the journey for us begins with creating conversations with people to trigger the change needed, we are well on our way along the path to our bigger picture – creating a massive social and business impact that will benefit us all.

We’re helping people to become a little more of who they are…human.
