Resistance

Most people have heard the saying, “If you resist, it persists”, and I believe energy and life is a little bit like that.

As you go through your life, you’ll find certain things, issues or events that you're constantly resisting. You’ll recognise them because it takes an awful amount of energy for you to resist it.  It almost feels like a conscious effort to put yourself against something or to go up against something or to go to the left or the right of an issue, and you become really tired out dealing with these blocks in your life. You're surrounded by all of these opportunities but you choose to resist. Usually, resistance makes your life clunky and chunky, and you don't feel like you're in a state of flow.

Maybe you’re resisting changing your job, or painting your home, cleaning your car…  Or maybe your resistance is related to money.

I believe money is an energy, the same as education, self-development, emotions, and life itself are energy – and energy does not like resistance. Energy loves to flow – it takes the path of least resistance to its destination, and can have devastating effects on anything that doesn’t conduct the energy and allow it to flow though. So you might choose to think of ways in which you can keep your money energy in a state of flow. You might like to keep the energy flowing in your bank account - money coming in; money going out just like waves at the beach. You could have a different area or account where you keep all your savings, but in the one account that you normally deal with, make sure that energy is always processing, always moving and never settling or stagnating.
