Hear what our clients have to say…
Impact is everything to us. There is no point in running a business unless you desire to have a massively positive impact on those individuals that you come in contact with.
We measure our impact using a custom-designed tool before and after every piece of work, we do with every client. We will then be reporting that impact on the front of our website to help clients understand the transformational change that we can create for their business.
The Being More Human team took the time to really listen to what we needed to achieve, and they provided advice about most cost-effective ways to achieve the outcomes we wanted.
We had two projects happening concurrently and the two consultants we worked with impressed me by going ‘above and beyond’ by liaising with one another to ensure that our projects were integrated and consistent.
I really appreciated the regular updates and that the work was finished on time at a high quality. The resulting documents were clear and provided a practical guide for implementation.

"Being coached by Michelle Crawford is an incredible and empowering experience. I always feel supported, loved, understood, and motivated on my best of days and on my worst of days.
This is the only place I've ever felt 100% NOT judged."

Six Hats Early Childhood Service had the pleasure of working with Being More Human. The Being More Human team were knowledgeable, available, encouraging, flexible and motivating, with a real passion for ‘humanistic’ work cultures shining through in every conversation. We received an amazing amount of stylized group and individual support in and around wellbeing for staff, HR support and coaching in identifying and implementing change and innovation around work culture. The biggest impact was not only learning what to look for on a professional level, but what we each contribute, along with greater understandings on how we develop on a personal level. If anyone, particularly businesses in early childhood education, is looking for opportunities for meaningful and authentic shifts in how their humans interact with each other, have a conversation with Being More Human.

“I have been working with Michelle and her team for a few months now on an incredibly unique project that is deeply important to us at Anditi. We wanted to create a positive working culture with a flat structure, and empower our employees to take the lead at relevant times when they have the subject matter expertise in a project. Michelle and Krystal facilitated sessions, which the whole team was involved in and was incredibly beneficial for our small company. We talked, connected and brainstormed, until we had nutted out the core of our organisation, and firmly landed on our WHY. It was an extremely powerful process that has been instrumental in underpinning our workplace culture. Michelle is an engaging facilitator who has a natural flare for leadership, developing people and creating synergies with colleagues in the workplace. The team at Being More Human have a contagious passion for empowering people, backed by years of experience in everything to do with culture building, leadership development, HR and strategic planning. Highly recommended for anyone looking to positively improve their humans, workplace or themselves!”
Annika Jamieson, Digital Growth Strategist
“We have been working with Michelle Crawford and Being More Human for several years now. It has been a great journey to see our senior team members learning together and individually and become far more aware of the themselves and the impact they have as leaders. Our culture was always good, but struggled with the basics of people growing from technicians to leaders. The gradual transformation is noticed and there has been plenty of moments when you see major leaps in growth in our team. I would describe our culture as great. It is a daily pleasure wo work with a team that is our business family. Our business strategies are now far more clear and lived by the team. Our focus has been on our leaders and we can see the benefits they are now sharing with their teams. Being More Human has been a critical part of this change, taking the time to get to know our people and their drivers. The level of trust and respect is critical to engaging on a growth/change process. I have worked with various business “consultants” over the last 25 years, Michelle is very different and has knowledge, practical experience to guide us through challenges and show us how to better approach them ourselves. We have truly become More Human.”

“Thank you to Nicci who provided Coast Shelter with recent training for our eleven Program Managers. Nicci directed the course topics with real efficiency. In the space of a relatively short time, she managed to achieve a warm and genuine relationship with each of our Managers, making them feel relaxed about airing any problems or issues they were facing and equipping them with the skills and techniques to arrive at possible solutions. Thanks again Nicci you were awesome!”
Shayne Silvers, Operations Manager
“Nicci commenced training our Managers in the Human Manager series in November 2015. For the past year, she’s also provided monthly team building workshops to Kitsu Kids, with a focus on the business’ Values. Nicci’s training emphasises an awareness of self and others, individual and group wellbeing and uses a strengths-based approach. Her training is fun, creative and inclusive and has supported the development of the cohesive and passionate team that is Kitsu Kids. I would sing Nicci’s praises any day!”

“I feel this has been a very healthy process, and we look forward to seeing further options moving forward. But at this stage, on behalf of the Board I would like to thank you and BMH for the job well done. Your engagement has been at a depth we hoped someone would commit to; a depth that provides quality insight and suggestion.”
Ty Brennock, Board Member
“Prior to meeting Michelle Crawford, the director of Being More Human, I had no idea what Life Styles Inventory was about. Over the course of two days we looked at some concepts and ideas that I had never thought of, and to be honest it was quite overwhelming. Michelle, however was engaging and created a confidence in yourself that you would be able to use the tools she showed us to develop ourselves. She sat with me while I ate my lunch and asked about my life, where I live and what I want to do with my future – with no hesitation at all. This showed Michelle’s genuine interest and care for the people around her and that is one of the main things I took away from the training exercise – to be more present and vulnerable in my life. Now I have an understanding of it all, I am working towards strengthening myself with intent.”
